So, Sandy Brundage, Almanac reporter, what's your point with that headline?

So the cops shot the white perp. If he was black, then maybe Al Sharpton would go nuts about it. The cops should be congratulated, not suspended.

The cops should be congratulated?
For not taking ten seconds to turn on their body cameras as instructed?
How long did they have from the call? 2 minutes? Dtoving 4 blocks? And they can make cell phone calls while driving. They fiddle with their laptops while driving.
Somehow unable to turn on cameras?
Yeah. Congrats. Great job.

Short of some allegation of criminal misconduct, isn't it pretty standard to put officers involved in shooting back on duty before the investigation is complete? I don't understand why this is news or controversial. It would be a waste of taxpayer dollars to pay them to be on leave if they are ready to return to work.

The Almanac is having a slow news day so it decided to create controversy where none existed. After the Almanac is only doing its job of being in vogue with the rest of the media by bashing cops.

So none of you care whether Wagstaffe's review of the shooting sure sounds like it reached a predetermined outcome. Must be nice to be sure about what happened before all the evidence is in.
