PETS IN NEED TO HOLD “BLACK FURDAY” ADOPTION EVENT

(REDWOOD CITY, CA) –Pets in Need will hold a “Black Furday” Adoption Event on Friday, Nov. 28. All dogs and cats in costume and those with black in their coats will be offered at no cost. Visitors to the shelter will see nearly 100 animals available for adoption in total, many of them in costume.

Pets in Need was established nearly 50 years ago as the first “no-kill” animal shelter in Northern California. The non-profit organization rescues animals from Bay Area public shelters that are at risk of being euthanized due to space or financial limitations. Pets in Need’s recently built shelter features state-of-the-art dog and cat rooms and modern, green building technology.
