Inmate pleads not guilty in cellphone smuggling case

The jail inmate accused of participating in a conspiracy with a sheriff's deputy and two correctional officers to smuggle cellphones and drugs into the county jail pleaded not guilty to all charges before a San Mateo County judge on Tuesday.
