Tonight - Board set to vote on Mandarin charter school proposal

A decision on whether or not to authorize a Mandarin immersion charter school in the Menlo Park City School District is on the agenda for the district's board when it meets Wednesday, Nov. 12.

Just curious...can things like this be put on the ballot so the population at large can vote?

That is a good point. Local voters should be able decide the issue. My vote, No.
