Menlo Park: Deadly assault suspect skips court hearing

A bench warrant was issued after a 66-year-old man accused of backing a pickup truck into a Menlo Park police officer didn't show up for a court hearing on Tuesday, Nov. 4, according to the District Attorney's Office.

San Mateo County doesn't have a public defender program.

It's a Private Defender Program, we are the only county out of 58 that has private.
