Thursday: Atherton holds earthquake response drill

There should be a lot of action in Atherton on Thursday, Oct. 16 as the town holds an earthquake response drill involving local schools, neighborhood groups,the Menlo Park Fire Protection District and other organizations.

The Lindenwood neighborhood exercise has just been concluded and was very successful. The participants demonstrated how well a disaster response can be organized from the bottom up - which is what will need to happen in the event of a real disaster.
