If you missed the chance to get cheap ink on your pants and flip through a hundred pages of advertisements, here's the actual content! The Post-ies came out with a strong NO against Measure M. They called out the potential for it to result in more housing and school impacts, and highlighted how it was written by an attorney in Davis without any public vetting. I would have added "and submitted by a woman who got rejected from the planning commission after only one term over a decade ago and a guy who didn't go to any plan workshops because he was too busy self publishing a book about playgrounds". Just kidding, you don't get to #302,191 on Amazon's book charts without some hard work. LOL!
For the Council, they endorsed Ohtaki, Cline, and Combs. The last rec seemed to be because they really, REALLY do not like Kirsten Keith and her husband. They correctly think Fergusson has too much baggage and they fault Durisetti for not having an opinion one way or another on M.

Just to really complete the history.
From Menlo Snark....
Patti Fry "the woman who got rejected from the planning commission after only one term"; --- Patti got rejected because the Council was controlled by Lee DuBoc and Mickie Winkler.
DuBoc and Winkler, both got rejected for second terms on Council by the voters of Menlo Park -- they really proved to be very very un-popular after only 4 years on Council.
Dave Price's views are always supporting development and real estate industries. Why not.. Look at his paper and see all the Real Estate ads that keep the Daily Post afloat.

Now for Winkler and Duboc. They represented a minority on the City Council. Remember that is the same City Council that had Andy Cohen and Kelly Fergusson. The reason Winkler and Duboc did not get reelected was the San Mateo County Labor Council mounted a blitzkrieg to defeat them because they stood up for the people of Menlo Park against egregious Union salary and benefit demands, that were way out of line with the private sector. These demands, if granted, would have been paid for by every Menlo Park resident. So Winkler and Duboc put the residents' best interests ahead of the avaricious demands of AFSME and SEIU and paid the price for it.
