City Council in control and in charge on Stanford project

Here is the CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA for 30 Sept:

B. SPECIAL BUSINESS
B1. Staff presentation regarding the 500 El Camino Real Traffic Analysis, Council discussion of appropriate next steps which City Council may desire to take
(Staff report #14-180)
B2. Report from Stanford Parcel Negotiation Subcommittee and Council discussion of appropriate next steps which City Council may desire to take

********
Clearly the Council is in control and in charge with respect to the Stanford project and it is ALL being done in PUBLIC.

Well done, Mayor and Councilmembers.

My response: Peter you of all people being the strongest supporter of the Brown act to ensure transparent public process are complementing the MP Staff and Council on this meeting.

You do know, that notice for this meeting was given only about 25 or 26 hours before the meeting. You do know, that the usual 72 hours notice for a Council meeting was circumvented by labeling the meeting "Special", and thus 24 hour notice is sufficient.

Just how many MP citizens will not know about this meeting and how many will be unable to attend (and perhaps comment) because of previous commitments, we shall never know, but for you to compliment the Council for this approach is hardly a position I would think you would take.
