27 local students are National Merit semifinalists

Twenty-seven juniors from three local high schools -- Menlo School, Menlo-Atherton High School and Sacred Heart Preparatory -- are among 16,000 semifinalists competing for National Merit scholarships to be awarded in the spring of 2015.
