Tonight: Menlo Park council may buy duplexes for city

Menlo Park may pay $1.12 million for two duplexes, at 1175 and 1177 Willow Road, to potentially use as below-market-rate housing.

I wish I could not afford to live somewhere, and then have a municipal government subsidize my living by utilizing the publics tax monies to make it affordable, and then I could have my children attend the local schools with the same tax base, and then afford to eat with further public subsidies. Then when I can't get a job because my skills are not in demand in the are which I am now living, which would be the main reason I wouldn't be able to live there in the first place, I would go on some sort of income subsidy.
