Not having the endorsement of Gail Slocum is a huge plus! Slocum represents the far left political fringe element in Menlo Park. She is a political has been who promoted the candidacies of such leftists as Heyward Robinson, Kelly Fergusson, Andy Cohen, Vince Bressler, and Toni Stein. Some never made it to City Council and then ones who did put in disastrous performances. She is a blast from the past and should remain there.

Keith still has more relevant endorsements that any Menlo Park candidate we've seen before. With Measure M taking center stage in this election, Gail Slocun's endorsement of Keith did't help Keith or Slocum's other candidates.

Fry/Lanza's Measure M is full of unintended consequences, and so is this post! I hadn't actually keyed in on endorsements, and this made me check Kirsten's out:
Web Link
A diverse set of Menlo mayors and commissioners, and way more county/state/fed officials than anyone else. Anna Eshoo bothering to endorse anyone? That's pretty good. Meanwhile, challengers Drew Combs and Kristin Durisetti don't even list any endorsements, and Kelly's is like a watered down version of what got her booted from the council in 2012. I hadn't necessarily been optimistic about Measure M being rejected, but I am feeling better now! Thanks, "lost endorsements, Menlo Park: The Willows"! LOL
