So, their defense is "We're running a Ponzi scam"?
How do they address the possibility that the desirability of the Vi could fall significantly (perhaps due to this scam) and in the future buyers won't be found to pay millions into a corrupt company with no security?
Perhaps they're relying on the efficacy of their aggressive marketing program, billed to current residents, to bring in future residents.

what exactly was the purpose of Stanford building this retirement home? I recall it was for retired Stanford professors but that story didn't hold up once the entrance fee was revealed and only a handful of professors could afford to pay. Stanford's relentless development on a and off campus has burdened the mid peninsula. First it was the shopping center, then the industrial park, and now it's Menlo Park and Palo Alto that has to east John Arrillaga's buildings on El Camino Real.
Stanford should be named in the senior resident's law suit. No doubt, tenants bought in because of Stanford's "good name"
STANFORD: STOP YOUR ENDLESS CONSTRUCTION. PLEASE STOP.

"Please Stop" should "please stop" hijacking this thread for your hysterical anti-Stanford nonsense. They haven't been part of this housing development for well over a decade.
Clearly you're part of the vehement Menlo Park Measure M movement and are politicking here.

Other CCRCs are interested in this lawsuit.
