What's a "marketbar?" Please, let it be not another pricey, erratic new eatery that's trendier than thou and louder than garbage trucks backing up. Rest assured, the restaurant that opened in Menlo Park early this year is none of the above.

well, if you want to pay this much for this food. what has happened to the bay area is horrific. there's no middle-class. what the bay area was before was very different. where is there common sense? how undignified

@ randy albin - every comment you make is pretty much the same. It always about how much it cost - going back some time. I like that about you - lots of issues and no solutions - just jump on a board a complain. While I feel this is also a bit pricey, it is a nice place as it appears (I have not been there yet). A great suggestion going forward that is actually helpful is list an alternative to this place that you feel is of the same quality but at a lower price.... maybe that is just me - I like solutions, not people who complain with no answer how to fix it

MarketBar is fantastic. We tried it at the soft opening, and again just a few weeks ago. The quality of the food is both excellent and consistent. I highly recommend MarketBar.

Ever since Borrone's had bad health inspection ratings, I've stayed away. Just can't quite stomach the idea of heading to this new place, given how their previous low ratings.
