Measure M - No EIR, No public hearings, No traffic study

Original post made by Peter Carpenter, Atherton: Lindenwood, on Sep 3, 2014

Voters need to know that there was NO EIR done on Measure M, there were NO public hearings and NO traffic study. And the Measure M supporters refuse to discuss what might be the consequences of Measure M forcing owners of adjacent properties to develop those properties separately and in an uncoordinated manner. Measure M supporters refuse to discuss the consequences of encouraging property owners to develop large 3 and 4 bedrooms residential units since only office uses are restricted under the measure.

Without an EIR, without public hearings, without a traffic study voters should simply vote NO on M.

Here is a great quote from a Measure M supporter:

"I will not be hurt if M fails. I just hope it gets enough votes to send the message."
