What will the GOP and the tea party do for the two years? "“I want to focus on the things that I think can actually get 60 votes in the Senate,” said Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming, chairman of the Senate Republican Policy Committee."
Makes sense, right? So the first vote?
"Even as they talk about pragmatic achievable solutions, though, Republicans also say they are likely to take an early symbolic vote on repeal of the health care law..." Web Link
50 futile repeal votes in the House, and no GOP replacement plan offered in any bill or proposed legislation, so the first thing Senate decides to do is join the House GOP Crazy Train and start on stupid, waste of time ACA repeal votes.
Yeah, same ol', same ol'....
Well, it is only August, and the GOP has to survive the rest of this month and September, historically ripe times for GOP missteps, as the ones in 2010 when they failed to defeat vulnerable Harry Reid, and 2012, when they stepped in large piles of doo-doo, such as Todd "legitimate rape" Akin.
Always hope.
