Portola Valley caller spots suspicious person; deputies arrest man on burglary charges

Sheriff's Office deputies, responding to a suspicious-person 911 call from a Portola Valley resident on Aug. 7 at 7:40 a.m., stopped a vehicle fitting the caller's description a short time later on Alpine Road in Ladera and made an arrest.

Way to go! We all need to keep an eye out for our neighbors. More and more people are breaking into our houses and cars. Don't hesitate to report strange behavior by people you don't recognize in the neighborhood - We CAN make a difference!
