Good listeners: Dogs give young readers undivided attention

Robbie came from Redwood City to the Woodside library on June 11 just so he could read to his longtime friend, Annie, who happens to be a 132-pound soft, cuddly and very, very patient Newfoundland dog.

Such a touching story! I am so thankful for the volunteer that take the time to do this: to share that something special they have...a Dog!
(Thanks to the libraries too for sponsoring the events, and to the SPCA for doing all the training and "filtering".
(I know that perhaps these same special class of dogs and owners visits the children in the Hospital, where I have seen the smiles and the comfort they bring.)

Sherri Camps tells me she and Sara will be at the Atherton library to listen to readers on Saturday, July 26 from 11 a.m. to noon. Sign up at the library in advance to make sure you have a spot.
