Precisely where in the Aeneid is sales tax discussed? or what is the point of this paraphrase? and what is the average citizen of Menlo Park likely to learn from a vague reference to the Aeneid except that Mr. Cogan is the beneficiary of a little learning, which, as Alexander Pope observed (two can play this game), "is a dangerous thing."
