Election: Open space district seeks voter OK for $300M bond measure

If two-thirds of voters approve Measure AA, the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District will be able to issue up to $300 million in bonds to finance improving, preserving and restoring its properties as well as purchasing land needed to connect trails and preserve plant and animal habitats.

That might be because the opposition are the people who own real estate and who will be paying for the next 30 years if this passes. They are not organized, just busy trying to pay there bills.

Notice there is no mention of the $300,000,000 or how long the debt is, in the Yes on AA material.
