Mayor Mueller to travel to China

Original post made by old timers, Menlo Park: Central Menlo Park, on Apr 23, 2014

I see where our Mayor is about to enjoy one of the perks of the job. He is going on one those "junkets" to China. Presuming his expenses will be paid by the City, why should he not go?

Maybe he can overspend Keith, who continually spends more than other council members on travel.

The news reports I have seen indicate all expenses are being paid by nonprofits.

Paid for by someone else? Now the hater will just claim it's a bribe.

After all, can't let facts get in the way of a good whine. An anonymous one, at that.

Ray Mueller is on of the most honest and ethical people on the City Council. In fact this council is the best one in a generation. When you consider the ethical violations of Kelly Fergusson, Andrew Cohen going home in a huff during a city council meeting because things were not going his way, and the continuous temper tantrums of Heyward Robinson on the dais, Ray Mueller looks pretty damn good.

Thanks Ray for your service to the city and conducting sane city council meetings.
