Tonight: Housing plan update, animal shelter on Menlo Park council agenda

April kicks off with a busy start for the Menlo Park City Council, with homeless shelters, animal shelters and Caltrain electrification just some of the topics on tonight's agenda.

Yes, I think we should support the animal shelter in San Mateo....in addition, I think there should be a concerted effort to trap and neuter animals.....or just lower neutering costs and there would not be so many stray cats and dogs. We must be more humane about the animal overpopulation in our area. I think the Nine Lives Foundation is taking on this gigantic responsibility regarding cats. I would like to see a similar effort for dogs.
