Woodside: School crosswalk delays anger mayor

Political pressure from Sacramento is being brought to bear as the town of Woodside seeks authorization to upgrade a crosswalk in front of Woodside Elementary School that crosses Woodside Road, a state highway.

I agree .. let's us cut all this unnecessary paper work.Simple things as a crosswalk ,should not end up costing a fortune. Let us all be more realistic and expedite the request.
Mr. Mayor, I am happy that you had an "outburst". I have gone repeatedlty at the office of Caltrain by Farm Hill Road regarding the high grass behind our property on Ridgeway ..I never received the help I asked.."to cut the grass to avoid possible fire hazard"..

Keep this story in mind as the pressure increases to "fix" Obamacare by moving to a government controlled single payer healthcare system.

The Mayor has the right idea. It's better to improve safety and ask for forgiveness, than to have an unsafe student crossing situation while waiting for permission.
