Today: Deadline to apply for Portola Valley water conservation task force

The drought continues, despite the recent rain, and the town of Portola Valley is looking for up to nine residents to sit on a new task force to consider ideas for property owners, residents and town staff on how they might conserve more water.

Suggestion: cancel the task force; it is not necessary. Just raise the price of water until the demand balances with supply, like we do for all other properly managed commodities.
