It saddens me that our City fired this beloved teacher and has yet to apologize or make the necessary changes to bring her back to the City gymnastics program. Yes, the pain runs deep and the loss to the community is great. Ms. Sutton is a valued member of the Menlo Park community. The injustice that was bestowed upon her by supervisors acting badly cannot be ignored away. It's not too late and repair damage and clean up the tainted image of our Community Services Department. Why is the City Manager and Council sitting on their hands waiting for a costly lawsuit? This is the kind of "Crap" image that the City needs to correct.
