It would really improve pedestrian safety to install a signal at Buckthorn and ECR, along with a sidewalk on the west side of ECR from Alejandra to the new signal and crosswalk at Buckthorn. Menlo College can give up a few feet of land along ECR for the safety of their students. Then eliminate the cross walk at Alejandra and ECR. Much safer for pedestrians including Menlo School and College kids. Also closer safe pedestrian crossing for those who try to cross at Watkins and Spruce.
