Original post made by jack Hickey, Woodside: Emerald Hills, on Dec 19, 2013

As an elected member of the Sequoia Healthcare District which created Sequoia Hospital, I applaud the initiative of the hospitals new owners, Dignity Health, and CEO Glenna Vaskelis (also Sr. Vice President, Operations, Dignity Health Bay Area Service Area) for introducing InQuickerâ„¢, an online service that enables emergency patients to select a projected treatment time and wait at home before going to the emergency room.

If people are going to use the emergency room for routine medical problems (colds, flu, fevers, etc) this is a nice thing to have. Isn't the ACA supposed to eliminate the need for this?
