Lower Peninsula and the south bay produces jobs, either private or public. While jobs are produced here, jobs are produced elsewhere in the bay area, Fremont and Union City which is home to many businesses that serve the area. San Francisco has problems with Ellis Act Evictions, Oakland is being compared to Brooklyn in NYC, both places are seeing rent rise to New York levels.

While I read a article about East Palo Alto becoming more upmarket or lets just say it and get it over with. Gentrification. Union City has a long way to go, but with some investment, modern city planning and tall buildings. You can think Docklands in London and the Isle of Dogs. A new business area from a old port and industrial area but I doubt it would happen here. NIMBYISM, clinging to the chance that we are going to need useless single.story buildings.

Corta Madera voted out of ABAG last year, it should take effect about now.

Residents should vote for local control candidates.
