Menlo Park: Managers to get raises under new contract

Approximately 34 city of Menlo Park employees would see raises of 4.5 percent and a bump in health benefits under the terms of a proposed contract.

maybe now the managers from Menlo Park can pay for their own "weekend away" in Half Moon Bay

And this doesn't include the lunches with the developers.

Why should management be rewarded for bad judgement? The increase should go to the non-management employees who do the work and to rectify past personnel mistakes. (that is, if management has a conscience and a motivation other than self interest).
