It would be nice if the authorities notified or included residents in the immediate area as they would be the first ones affected prior to first responders. Currently, communication is poor and there isn't a planned evacuation route nor destination in the event of a large tanker chemical spill, explosion, etc that could affect residents on both sides of the tracks. What if a chemical spill begins in RC and leaks poison through Atherton into Menlo Park?
