Menlo Park: Burglars get away with safe, cash

Burglars broke into Lulu's Mexican Food restaurant at 3539 Alameda de las Pulgas in West Menlo Park and got away with an $800 safe and $10,540 in cash, according to an Oct. 7 report from the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.

Lulu's has 4 restaurants - another on Laurel Street in San Carlos.

Wow, do you really think it was wise to be explicit about the amount taken? That's a lot of $$! Does anyone see a problem with this report?
