Vice Mayor Mueller Fought Hard Tonight to Improve Downtown!

Original post made by Marcus, Menlo Park: Central Menlo Park, on Oct 1, 2013

Tonight I caught the Menlo Park City Council meeting on TV and was really impressed by Vice Mayor Mueller. The poor guy was working so hard to convince the rest of the Council to create a small business commission. I don't get why the other Council members were giving him such a hard time to create a commission that is so obviously needed. At least one of our Council members is focused on listening to small business owners and improving our downtown now, instead of years from now. The others seemed to keep pedaling the same old same old; another study, another consultant. Mueller is awesome. He gets it, and he gets results. Ultimately, he got them to agree to a study session to consider creating the commission and study how to help our businesses. Thanks Ray! Keep on working hard. We are in your corner.
