County seeks new operator for Folger Stable

Three years after a historic renovation, Folger Stable finds itself facing empty stalls in the near future as San Mateo County cancels its contract with the Bay Area Equestrian Connection.

It was wrong of the County to do this. To lose public Riding programs in favor of another stakeholder. I rode with BAEC and their horses were great, and it was affordable. People with $$ win every time... So pathetic

Petty bickering and personality conflicts. There are no meaningful financial issues expressed in this article. 5 days late? 20 days late? Good luck getting someone else to invest given the treatment of Byrum. I certainly wouldn't.

Why the heck would the County get rid of a business providing affordable services to the community? We have to know its politics...someone is bought off. Hmmm.
