Why were 2 Supervisors even on the Boundary Redistricting Committee?

Original post made by Michael G. Stogner, another community, on Sep 25, 2013

Last night at the final meeting both Adrienne Tissier and Warren Slocum abstained from voting on a map. Bill Nack the most politically influential citizen did the same. Tissier suggested a map that would only tweak current boundaries, her motion was rejected 5-4. Tissier later suggested that maps not recommended by the committee could still be considered by the board.....Oh Really, if that's the case why did the taxpayers spend $100,000 on this committee.
