Atherton council may choose new member today

The Atherton City Council will interview seven candidates for a vacant council seat at a 5:30 p.m. meeting today (July 11), and possibly appoint one of them to fill out a term ending December 2014.

Council not able to pick one tonight, election is next option for a 1 year time period. They came close but unable to get three votes. Best of luck to all of Atherton
