One simple solution regarding the students taking the bus from Ravenswood to Carlmont is to impose the later start time at Carlmont to be aligned with the other high schools. Thanks....

It's crazy that the Ravenswood students get bussed all over the county for high school. To make it worse, Ravenswood has open enrollment, so students living all over the (tiny) area go to random schools -- not necessarily in their neighborhood. Then when they go to high school they are forced by Sequoia District to attend a high school according to geography.
And Sequoia built a new, small high school facility in East Palo Alto which is sitting empty. Why not let EPA students attend high school in EPA?
Only about 1/2 of Ravenswood kids go to Sequoia schools, anyway. The rest go to private or charter schools where they won't be ignored and automatically relegated to lower lane classes.

@mutti: do you have data to back up your claim that "about half" of Ravenswood kids don't go to SUHSD and go to private and charter instead?
I'd suggest you're making it up. You conveniently have left out the Tinsley Program where some of the participants attend PAUSD schools, including Gunn and Palo Alto high schools.

Wayne,
Have you seen the traffic on the 101 between 7AM and 8:30AM? A later start time at Carlmont would likely add to the problem, that is why the school asked for a waiver of that requirement

So what feedback came up at the Woodside HS event?
I haven't seen it covered?
