Letter: A welcome decision on artificial turf

Thank you, Portola Valley Town Council, for upholding the core values of our town founders in denying artificial turf playing fields.

Let us remember that one of our Town's founding fathers had artificial turf on his property! He used it because he wanted to conserve water.
Just sticking to the facts.
