Almanac wins 5 statewide awards

The Almanac won five statewide awards in the annual California Newspaper Publishers Association contest, the CNPA announced April 27. The Almanac won first place in its circulation category for best feature story and second places in these categories: investigative reporting, coverage of the environment, photo essay and feature photo.
