Every time I drive through or around Portola Valley, I can't understand how they can allow the asphalt road surfaces. With "Environmental Consciousness" in mind imagine the glistening oil and sludge that was heated, mixed with other non-environmentally stable compounds and then slathered on top of the ground, with the intent being to allow people to drive more easily, consuming even more environmentally damaging substances. Rather than allow a faux grass field at the Priory, I believe they should also outlaw asphalt and go back to mud roadways. Mud is so much more environmentally friendly.......
