SMC Elected Officials make sure Bill Nack is on Citizens Committee

Redistricting Committee
4/9/13 at the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors Meeting Agenda item 5 was voted on and passed unanimously. Unfortunately not covered in the media so far. County Manager John Maltbie (who recently received 11% raise) has made sure that Bill Nack (who was instrumental in causing Carole Groom to be appointed instead of letting the voters decide) was appointed and requested $100K for cost of committee. SMC has no commitment to revise only review….It is a shame no conversation occurred about removing Bill Nack from the Citizen List and replacing him with Isabel Annie Laya Web Link

Is anybody an expert in properly making and passing a motion. I'm sure Supervisor Adrienne Tissier wanted to add Annie Loya to the list of public members lead by Bill Nack and I think she made an addendum which Don Horsley 2nd. I didn't hear a motion and description of agenda item 5 made.

I just want to say Thank You to former Mayor of San Carlos and now councilman Matt Grocott and Greg Conlon for taking time out of their busy day to go to and speak at the Board of Supervisors meeting today on this very subject. Was this item properly motioned.
