No drone for San Mateo County Sheriff's Office

Plans are off for the purchase of a small drone aircraft that would have allowed Sheriff's Office deputies to peer down from the sky, night or day, during search-and-rescue operations or hostage incidents.

Drones are just like mandatory criminal background checks for gun buyers. If you have nothing to hide, then you have nothing to worry about.

What other civil liberties shall we eliminate?

No need for pesky warrants or just cause. After all, "if you have nothing to hide, then you have nothing to worry about."

It's been all downhill since the Magna Carta. And that stupid Bill of Rights!
