Other San Mateo citizens who have experienced misconduct or unethical behavior by prosecutor Mckowan in their cases are encouraged to write to Attorney General Kamala Harris.

Kamala Harris do anything about this? Next life. She's too busy not doing her job. Attorneys protect attorneys. It's a perfect system. The rest of us can go suck an egg.

Until the sheeple of San Mateo County wake up and elect someone else besides the current crop of corrupt supervisors and throw our corrupt DA out of office, nothing will change.

Wake up San Mateo County. Some day you could be getting screwed over by our DA.

No other case involving a pedophile doctor in this country has taken SIX years, as the Ayres case has, and counting.

In the last few weeks, a number of California prison inmates have come forward to say that Ayres assaulted them when they were juveniles. One of these juvenile cases was VERY high profile. The prosecutor on it is now a judge who has made decisions very recently in the Ayres case.

Watch for that case to be overturned AND a whole slew of lawsuits against San Mateo County to be filed.

This is exactly what DA Steve Wagstaffe fears- lawsuits against his precious county and that some of the murder cases his office prosecuted will be overturned.

The lawsuits are coming, and there is no doubt that some of these convictions will be thrown out.

Two weeks ago, the Menlo Park Patch reported on a FOURTH case where prosecutor Melissa Mckowan had committed misconduct, when she failed to turn over witness testimony to the defense in the Horatio Carlos Teran case.

As a result of that story, someone in San Mateo government went to DA Wagstaffe to complain about her actions on this case.

Mystifyingly, the details about Mckowan's misconduct have recently been removed from the original story:

The first time the case went to court on Sept. 12, 2012 the case was declared a mistrial, because witness testimony had not been provided to Armstrong, according to the DA’s office. During this year’s trial, the testimony was admitted.

Menlo Voter: I respectfully disagree that Kamala Harris won't look at the problematic prosecutor in the San Mateo DA's office. For one, there have been press stories about it. We all know Harris is ambitious and likes press. Two, there are now THREE known cases of misconduct by the prosecutor, that were submitted to the California Bar.

Information has been submitted to Attorney General Harris that the prosecutor, in court papers in 2010, falsely accused a CRIME VICTIM'S family and prosecution witnesses of crimes they did not commit. Kinda hard for Harris to both ignore the news stories AND the false claims that have been made to the court by the prosecutor, in writing.

When one is trying to get someone in power to pay attention, it all comes down to timing.

The Atherton Almanac reporters should go back and look at that case from 2010.

I hope you're right, but I'll believe it when I see it. The San Mateo County DA's office has been a corrupt little cess pool for a long time. There's been plenty of opportunity for the AG to do something about it, yet none of them have. Makes one wonder why.
