Menlo Park adds part-time budget director

Larry Lisenbee, San Jose's former budget director, has joined Menlo Park part-time, according to a memo sent to city staff.

The City's work needs to get done. Are you, Disgusted and Alfred, proposing you're willing to step up and help-pro bono? IF so, please submit your qualifications, if not,............ Take a little time to visit the City offices and observe the staff in action; hard working, extremely competent in their specialties and over-burdened.

Perhaps one should look at how inefficient their systems are; the reliance on outdated modes of operation (i.e. Kramer) that proliferated for years; the arrogance which management treats its employees by not fully utilizing their skills - then maybe they wouldn't be in the situation they're in now. Work smarter, not harder.
