I was sorry to read about the passing of a dance icon, Imogene Woodruff. My father, George Ward, taught drama to her sons at Woodside High School and I always looked forward to her glamorous entrances into a theater. Years later, I took ballroom dance lessons from Imogene and her son, Barry. What a dynamic duo! It was amazing to watch the magic that happened as a result of their experience, innate talent, and athleticism. Imogene Woodruff will be missed. Her legacy lives on through Barry's leadership of drama students at Woodside High.

She was an institution and will be sorely missed.
