Why is the Almanac continuing to refer to "West" Menlo Park (as in this story) and "East" Menlo Park? Last I checked, there is only ONE Menlo Park.....

The specific area this story refers to is unincorporated, and the county has designated it West Menlo Park. I'm unaware of our use of "East Menlo Park." We typically refer to "the Belle Haven neighborhood of Menlo Park," or if the area is outside the neighborhood but east of the Bayshore Freeway, we might point out that it's in the eastern part of town.
