San Mateo County Times the peninsula's Hometown Newspaper

Original post made by Michael G. Stogner, another community, on Dec 13, 2012

Has decided that coverage of the Supervisors vote to increase the County Manager salary and benefits to $300,000 is not newsworthy. This is their way of helping Don Horsley, Adrienne Tissier, Carole Groom, The San Mateo Daily journal also wrote nothing about it on Wednesday.

Thank You Atherton Almanac for your coverage of a San Mateo County story.

Michael, I agree with your observation and applaud this great newspaper's coverage of this issue,\. However, please, drop the Atherton reference in future mentions of THE Almanac (serving Menlo Park, Atherton, Portola Valley, Woodside) I do wish, though, they would add Redwood City and East Palo ALto to their banner however.

Will do

I can now add that the San Mateo County Times coverage has remained the same for 3 days now.......ZERO
