Rain falls and creek rises

Water, water everywhere, and not a drop to drink -- unless you're an animal and accustomed to creek water. The recent storms filled San Francisquito Creek, whose watershed passes through parts of Portola Valley and Woodside, incorporated and unincorporated Menlo Park, Palo Alto and East Palo Alto.

I think the 2nd picture is the Pope-Chaucer bridge not somewhere in Sharon Heights.

Thanks for the observation. It makes topographical sense that a neighborhood that includes the word "Heights" in its name would not be likely to have a creek, with headwaters somewhere far away, flowing through.
