Update: Deputy shoots man along Caltrain tracks

A man was shot by a San Mateo County sheriff's deputy Wednesday following a confrontation on railroad tracks in San Jose, San Jose police said.

San Mateo County Sheriff Office is the transit police for Caltrain from San Francisco to Morgan Hill.
