Walker will cling to his seat, you didn't even use the extreme polling done by the right such as the Illinois Manufacturers' Association shows Walker ahead 54-42. It'll be closer; barring an extreme and sudden ground game advantage, he wins.

But a sitting gov who came in as a conquering hero only clinging by 5?

As far as Governor Walker is concerned I will make you a bet of $1,000 that the recall effort fails. I said above Walker wins by less than 5. I'd put the over/under at 4 or 5. I think the ground game will tighten it but not enough. Given the polls all show Walker up, why offer a bet with straight odds? Pretty easy to cockadoodledoo when everyone says it will happen anyway. A man of principle and sport would offer a different bet, reflecting the sure nature of the event.

My heart has the President run the table with the big three - VA FL OH, and a trouncing like McCain got 3 years ago. Of course it won't go like that, unless Romney falls apart. Even if they have pics of a naked Mitt in bed slaying a bald eagle using the flag, there will still be enough 3rd party pac money to keep it close in the big 3. The ads in those states will be horrific, with all sorts of dumb claims like "he's a socialist (untrue), look at his record spending (untrue), hasn't created jobs (untrue), he's responsible for TARP and the wall st bailouts (of course, again untrue) and on and on.

Just the other day, I heard he fathered two black babies in wedlock.

Citizens United and endless anmounts of cash from the uber wealthy: the start of a winning streak?

Before you go back to the rhetoric declaring this a referendum on Obama, let's get serious a moment. There were virtually no ads depicting Romney or Obama.

Romney and Obama never set foot in the state after the GOP primary. Romney has said nary a word about Wisconsin since the primary months ago. One assumes he'll try to horn in on the credit tomorrow, but you expect that from him. This was billionaire money against working people. Workers lost.

Doll:

spare me. How much money did the unions spend? How much have they spent supporting candidates that will give them whatever they want? How much have public employee unions spent buying politicians? No, this wasn't a win for billionaires. This was a win for you and me and every other average taxpayer that the public employee unions and their elected lackies have been fleecing for decades.

The public is finally starting to wake up and figure out we've been getting screwed. The politicians we elect have been sitting at the negotiating table on our behalf having been paid by the unions to get elected. Sure sounds like those politicians have our best interests in mind, huh?

I'm not happy about all of this money being injected into politics, but it has been going on for years. Witness the screwing the taxpayers are taking from the public employees unions. Those of us in the public sector have taken major pay cuts and benefits cuts. When it comes time for the public employees to do the same, listen to them whine.

Funny, no one seemed to mind about money being spent when then Senator Obama spent $760 million to Senator McCain's $360 million.
