Menlo Park's main library closes

The Menlo Park public library on Alma Street closes on May 21 for renovation. When it reopens on June 18, patrons will see a new circulation area and an easier checkout system via radio frequency identification tags, according to the staff.

Doesn't a month long shutdown in the last weeks of the school year seem like a bad idea? Don't kids study there anymore?
