Subject: Stop Foreclosures and Audit

Dear Mark,
I am asking you to stop all foreclosures in San Mateo County as of today. I am asking you to conduct an audit of the foreclosures during the last 2 years to see if San Mateo County's foreclosures are anymore legal than the city and county of San Francisco. According to a recently published audit by Aequitas Compliance Solutions, foreclosures impact not only homeowners but also entire communities and housing markets. The integrity of California’s record title system is also at stake because the validity of title for subsequent purchasers is dependent on those that precede it.
Ensuring clear chains of title and the integrity of California’s record title system are essential to the recovery and stabilization of the state’s housing market. We are now aware of the illegal activity involved in foreclosures and what it does to the market and owners. In case you have not been notified yet, here is an official notice.

Here is the final report of San Francisco's audit, it's obvious we need an audit as well.
